Happy Holidays, Senator Buttars!

Today I read this juicy morsel in the Deseret News.

Awesome news! Everything that needed to be done in Utah from a legislative perspective is done, so Senator Chris Buttars, one of the worst people in Utah, has decided to waste the body's time with an unenforceable resolution asking retailers to wish the few people who will be shopping this year "Merry Christmas" instead of "Happy Holidays."

I am so glad that Buttars is protecting my Jeebus fearing Christian ways. Er, wait.

I am sending one card this season, and yup, you guessed it, it is a Happy Holidays card addressed to Sen. Buttars and his family. Wanna sign it? Email me and let me know! julianne.hancock@gmail.com. Or, better yet, send your own Happy Holidays card to the Buttars!

Mail them to:

Chris and Helen Buttars
9241 Lisa Ave
West Jordan, UT 84088-8535

Happy Holidays!

UPDATE: Ecards are great too! Sen Buttars' email address is dbuttars@utahsenate.org.

I just sent senator Butthead the following:

I live in Grand County, a progressive island in a sea of mindless conservatism. I wanted to take this opportunity to wish you and your family Happy Holidays.

I would also like to request that you shove your religion up your ass, not down my throat.

Proud to be a Pagan,

Richard Schwartz

Yeah, I know I should be respectful, but sometimes I just don't have the holiday spirit necessary to be polite to jerks.
