My son has been taking guitar lessons for about six months and while he likes the instrument a lot he had not had very good luck with his teachers.  He has actually had two.  The first one ended up moving out of the area and his current one cancels more appointments than he keeps.  I told my son that I had seen the Claude Johnson guitar website and he should check it out.  I thought that if we ordered the DVD lessons my son might actually learn more with them than he has with these private lessons that have just not been all that beneficial.
