I love to play the electric guitar.  I started off playing a lot of power chords and just chugging on the guitar as loud and as fast as I could.  However, there is so much more to playing the guitar than what I have been doing.  That is why I started taking acoustic guitar lessons.  I want to become a great guitar player.  But I know that it is going to take so much more than just chugging and playing fast.  There is a lot of really simplistic things that I need to learn how to do first.  That is just the facts.
