Many US citizens make their way down to Australia during the winter months. The Southern hemisphere is warm during the December, January and February months making it an ideal holiday destination. One of the favorite tourist destinations is the great barrier reef. The marine life is second to none and you get to experience an array of marine wildlife that is hard to beat anywhere else in the world. For tourists that like to collect souvenirs of this region, a turtle coin is a perfect reminder of a great trip. When a friend recently returned from a Christmas vacation I was lucky enough to learn all about this great region of the world.
