Someone Else Got my Idea
January 31st, 2010 . by adminIn the last year of my father’s life, he shared with me some plans that he had devised for making cars run on renewable energy types of fuel. He had created an engine that would run entirely on corn oil. In his day, that was a major breakthrough. The problem with his idea is that he did not take the time or make the investment to protect it from being duplicated. In a matter of a few months after his death, I read in the local paper about a co-worker of his who had applied for trademarks for my father’s ideas. I was saddened to see that he was approved.
