Convert everything to fun

August 21st, 2010 . by admin

Table tennis is one of my favorite sports. I used to go to the sports center daily just to be able to play this wonderful game. It’s something I want to improve so much in; a game of it is one of the most enjoyable ones. I wanted to buy my own table. Having one I think is the best investment there is. To my surprise it was so expensive. It was beyond my budget. This is when I learned about ping pong conversion top. With it I can use my dining table or billiards table for a game. It’s truly fantastic.

Exercising Outdoors: The Stories of Neighbourhoods, Dogs, Houses, and People

August 15th, 2010 . by admin

One of the greatest thing about taking a walk or cycling outdoors in one’s own neighbourhood is that on top of an excellent form of exercise and the opportunity to pick up some Vitamin D, you walk through the stories of people, pets, and things.  There is the house renovation that proceeds from dumpster in the back yard to new grass laid down.  Or the selling of a house, from the sign in the front yard to meeting the new people.  On a walk, dogs tell a story, too.  They are strangers and quickly they become friends to look forward to on a walk.  You learn which one likes a scratch behind the ears and which one recognizes you from a couple of blocks away.  People, also, tell stories.  You know the folks who are great gardeners and the people who enjoy sitting outside and watching the world go by.  You see the same kids in the park and the same dogs chasing frisbee.  Soon, exercise outdoors feels less like exercising and more like reading a new chapter of a book.

Love at first shot

August 11th, 2010 . by admin

For the past three years I have always used a 9mm at the shooting range. This last time I was advised by the range director to try a 22 LR semiautomatic caliber pistol. I fell in love instantly. It fit perfectly in my hand. Thankfully they had extra 22 LR ammo for sale because I spent over an hour shooting this gun.  I could not believe how little recoil and noise it had. I was able to get very tight shot groups when hitting my target. Don’t get me wrong, I am not ready to give up on my 9mm, but I think it is time to invest in second gun.

Reloading Primers for the First Time

August 9th, 2010 . by admin

My father had been reloading primers ever since I was born, but I never really took interest in it before. However, I have grown up to be a very avid hunter, and I have become very interested in reloading primers. I asked my dad if he could show me how to do it, and he said that he would. He told me that it’s going to take me awhile to learn, but he ran me through the process using small rifle primers. I forgot a lot of the steps, so I think I’m going to have to watch him a few more times before I give it a try.

A Great Location for Fishing

August 1st, 2010 . by admin

A friend of mine from work surprised me when he said he had booked a charter to take us out to the flamingo fishing location just a few miles from where I live. My friend knows how much I enjoy fishing, and knew that I had a day off work. We went out early in the morning and caught fish right from the start. I had never fished in this location before, so it was nice to learn where to catch more fish. My friend ended up catching more fish than me, but both of us had a great time in the flamingo fishing location.

Most people have heard of deer season. This is the time of the year which hunters can hunt and shoot deer. Most of the hunters come out and participate in contests and other activities associated with deer season. On the other hand, many people have not heard of lobster season and many less have heard of lobster mini season. Like deer season, lobster season is the time of the year where people come out and hunt and catch lobster. In addition, lobster mini season is a two day event in Florida where people can catch lobster before lobster season officially begins.

Safe Play

June 22nd, 2010 . by admin

Young boys can be unruly, aggressive, and very playful. They love to play rough outside and tear into everything they can get their hands on. A great gift for young boys like this are airsoft guns. Air soft guns are a great way to let these rough playing boys play around with safe guns. The guns are fun and safe. The soft foam bullets are safe for young boys playing around with each other in the yard. They are a fun and entertaining way to keep rough and rowdy boys playing for hours. The guns are great for playing target practice and for pretending to shoot at things around the house.

Wayne Rooney Hoping to Open World Cup Account

June 19th, 2010 . by admin

During the second half of England’s game against the USA, star striker Wayne Rooney showed his commitment to the cause by regularly helping out Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard in midfield. The Manchester United striker’s tireless work ethic often divides opinion; there are those who would prefer that he lead the line and lurked dangerously near the opposition penalty box, instead of expending valuable energy tracking back to put in tackles in midfield. There is, of course, no doubting Rooney’s goal threat. He bagged 34 goals in all competitions for Manchester United this season despite straining ankle ligaments in a Champions League tie in Munich and suffering from other niggling injuries towards the end of the season. If Gareth Barry is fit to return for England’s game against Algeria on Friday, the extra ballast in midfield should allow Rooney the freedom to do what he does best.
