I remember when my friends were getting married that it seemed like every time I turned around, I was going to another wedding. One wedding stuck out though because I was the groom’s best man. I had heard many best man speeches around that time, but none of them were like what I wanted mine to be like. Most were funny and light or they were just too serious. I ended up writing mine about an hour before I had to give it, but it turned out fine. Everyone seemed to like it especially my friend the groom. I only wish that I had remembered not to spill food on my shirt!
