I truly believe that, when you are sick, the best soup for you is tomato. Many people say that chicken soup is best for you, but really: was it good for the chicken? Of course, being from New England, I love clam chowder; my mom had the best new england clam chowder recipe in the entire world. But again, the clams never recovered when they came in contact with it. Now, tomato soup, that says to me ‘you are too sick to go to school, sit down and have a bowl of me, along with your mom’s best grilled cheese sandwich.’ Ah Paradise found! Won’t you join me?
