My favorite time of day to go grocery shopping is around 6:30 a.m. on a Saturday morning.  This always works out great for my schedule.  There is hardly ever many people there, and the shelves are always fully stocked from the night before.  Many will agree with me on this subject.  You will not have to wait in line to check out.  If you are an early bird such as I, this may be a good option for you.  It may cut a good portion of your time out of your shopping trip.  Which in turn will give you more time for yourself.
