Men’s fast fashion is costing more than you realise.
February 20th, 2010 . by adminMen’s fashion is a fickle business. Maybe not as much as women’s fashion, but it is getting that way, and I worry what effect our new-found wasteful nature is having on the environment.
I am as bad as many others – picking up bargains which I expect to only last a couple of washes and then chucking them in the bin after the first hole appears, but I’ve only recently stopped to think where this fast fashion lifestyle may be taking us.
From now on, I am going to buy more hard-wearing items, and less of them. This will probably work out at about the same cost in the long run anyway! I am going to aim for sustainable and fair trade materials when possible, and have far fewer throw outs. I urge you to all do the same.
