specialize in traditional spiritual methord
February 22nd, 2010 . by adminIn the United States, enfranchisement is not required for religious schools to award religious AA, BA, MA, or Ph.D degrees. A theological degree (AA, BA, MA, or Ph.D) is valid in America. Foundations offering strictly spiritual academic degrees are exempt from licencing prerequisites in many areas, subject to particular conventions in each province. Some seminaries choose to get certification in order to be acknowledged to award normal degrees vs. spiritual degrees. There are several major certification agencies that specialize in traditional spiritual schools. These are the Association for Biblical Higher Education, Association of Advanced Rabbinical and Talmudic Schools, the Transnational Association of Christian Degrees Colleges and Schools, the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada, and the American Board of Theological Institutions (ABTI).
